Cadaver workshop at University of Copenhagen
We are proud to present the SSAI pre-congress cadaver workshop at University of Copenhagen, Panum complex on the 27th August, 2019.
It will be an interactive and engaging workshop designed to empower practitioners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage a wide spectrum of anaesthesia-related procedures, including intraosseous vascular access, surgical airway, retrograde intubation, finger thoracostomy, thoracotomy, tourniquet use, wound packing, REBOA and more.
The workshop is more comprehensive than what is normally offered, since the target audience are experienced anaesthesiologists in all areas of the specialty.
During the 3 and a half hours the participant will have ample opportunity to acquire hands-on practice using human cadaveric tissue.
You can choose between the morning and afternoon session in the registration form.
The workshop is arranged in co-operation with Teleflex and is led by Professor Anil Hormis from the UK. Instructors will be from Scandinavia, and the session will be held in English.
Only 2 x 24 places are available, so early registration is recommended.
The price for this unique and exceptional clinical experience is DKK 1150.

CHOICE (Central Haemodynamic Options of Individual Critical Care Evaluation) course
This course will consider the different types of information that may be obtained from echocardiography, transpulmonary thermodilution and pulmonary arterial catheterization. The emphasis will be on interpretation and clinical application.
